This is the fourth year in a row that I've observed this pair of ospreys building and successfully raising young. This year only one chick hatched. Approximate hatch date is around March 1. The nest is located on an old light standard in the old Rohr Aircraft plant at the foot of H Street in Chula Vista and easily viewable from Marina Parkway north of Sandpiper Way.
